Batman Begins The Batman Begins General Discussion Thread

It feels, especially in comparison to the previous series, really fitting and appropriate that the film is so focused on Bruce and that the few scenes from other characters' perspectives feel brief and yet appropriate and necessary additions (aside from probably the tower commentary-ing). The ending defeat of Scarecrow is weird and disappointing but still overall a great portrayal of him especially when you would hope/think he would be bigger and better in sequel. While TDK felt a little too much about and even driven by the villains and a little too big ensemble cast generally.

Katie Holmes was/is really weird casting and yet despite that also gives at least good fitting performance.

I replayed the movie tie in video game and surprisingly it's still quite enjoyable. The gaming mechanics definitely were the building blocks to what Rocksteady would use for their own game series Batman: Arkham Asylum and the Arkhamverse trilogy.

It's fun to hear most of the main cast reprising their respective characters in the video game.

I noticed that Christian Bale's voice as Batman is a nice balance.
