see, if anything, I wouldn't call the film 'bad' or 'terrible'...
I feel like the best adjective to describe it is simply 'incomplete.'
I got a huge impression that there was a s**tload of material that was either left out or written but never shot. It feels more empty than a "Wolverine" film should be...which is just absurdly ironic given that all three "X-Men" films practically had tunnel-vision set solely on Logan.
The one time where it's supposed to be about him and the story can't help but feel hollow...yet simultaneously packed to the brim...literally the brim...with untapped potential.
I mean you can see it under the surface just begging to be let out, but the film never lets it.
