i really, really hate this show, especially that ******ed sandra Oh chick. matter of fact i basically hate all tv shows that deal with the medicalfield. i still like ER, but these other shows are a bit contrived (i.e.) House and G.A.

What about Scrubs? Anyway, I used to hate the show but now I like it. I think the main reason why I hated it was because for awhile it took Boston Legal's place and I still think Boston Legal is a much better show.

Holy crap. I agree with GAH. :(

Well, except for the bit about House. House rocks. But yeah, I really dislike Grey's Anatomy. And my mom and sister love it, so that don't make me happy.

I didn't watch it from the beginning because it looked lame. How can Helen Pompei be considered the good looking one of the show. She's ugly. Katherine Heigl is the hot one. House really looks stupid and completely implausible.

I'm assuming from your use of the word "looks" that you haven't actually watched it. do it. House is the coolest cat on tv, after Jack Bauer. as for implausible... how so?

Oh, House is far from stupid. Although some of the scenarios are quite implausible.

I liked Grey's Anatomy when it first debuted. However, the show kinda dragged last season with some real silliness. I found the season finale, and the eps leading up to it, to be really contrived and transparent. It did nothing to draw me to watching the third season. I might catch an ep here and there, but it's not like it's a priority or anything.

Some more shots of Katherine Heigl in her bra would help.

I actually really like Grey's Anatomy. I didnt think I would when I first saw commercials, but I did. As for House, I havent seen much of it so I wont say anything bad except the fact that almost every commercial for the show has House crossing the line to save a patient. I guess its just part of the character. And as for ER, it has been on WAY to long, NBC doesnt really know how to stop a show when it is on top. Except Seinfeld, that just kept getting better. Hell, I'm surprised NBC cancelled Friends and Frasier at all, instead of dragging them out another five years.

urgh, I hate Sandra Oh as well. If it wasn't for her I'd probably watch the show.

I'm not a big a fan of Sandra Oh, either. I have a friend who loves her, which lowers my opinion of my friend. :( Anyway, I can't watch Grey's Anatomy because I keep thinking, "Hey, I saw this once on ER, only it was done better."

It just seems like every week they advertise it that he has to kill a patient and bring them back to life to cure them from some disease that hasn't been around for hundreds of years. My friend loves it and raves about it. I'll stick with Nip/Tuck as my medical drama.

House is formulaic but the acting is far too good for it to be a bad show.

^Nip/Tuck is another good medical show.

I think House is more about the characters than the ridiculously implausible medical scenarios. Which is as it should be, really, since every medical TV show has featured some ridiculously implausible medical scenarios. In fact, TV in general tends to thrive on ridiculously implausible scenarios, regardless of the career field the show follows. I'm watching Boston Public again right now, and it's rife with ridiculously implausible schlock. Harry Senate fired a gun in his classroom in the first episode and miraculously didn't get fired or even suspended, and somehow the parents just let it go after a brief outcry. Utter bull****, but the characters on the show are pretty strong, so you overlook it.

I love house but seriously, how has the guy not had his medical license taken away from him yet. He lies to patients about the treatements he gives them, he's a fully fledged addict and he mocks parents of terminally ill children. Great show but realism... not so much

Hahaha, I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks so. I saw the first few episodes and I was like, "**** this. I guess even FX can have ****ty shows." Rescue Me and The Shield make up for it, though, so FX is still ok by me. :)

Nip/Tuck is great. Last season was kinda off and dragged at the end, but the first two were top-flite stuff.

Julian McMahon can't act, he was crap in charmed and he was bloody diabolical in fantastic four. Every time I see the guy on screen I always think of Joey's scenes as Dr. Drake Ramore in friends

Valid points on Charmed and FF. He plays a decent sex-obsessed *****ebag though.

The basic plots of each episode are just there to tie everything together. What makes the show are all the sub plots.

I always thought he was the most watchable part of Charmed.

Too true. In fact more Katherine Heigl in bras would make the show worth watching. Hell give her a running gag that Scrubs did once, where when she flashes people they are magically healed. That would be the best episode this wreck of a show could ever do.

I hate it, as well. Too much whining and crying.

I kind of agree with you. ER has been going for how long? And it's still working!
I still like G.A. though, not as good as ER, but I like it (Katherine!!!).
And I hate House with a passion, one of the worst shows in primetime.

Why does everyone hate Sandra Oh so much? What she ever do that was so terrible?
