Am I worrying too much?

Y2K...my god....the horror of Y2K....we have been through a lot in the past 20 years

Those were the days, the mass hysteria...just another Monday back then. :yay:

I understand his fear though. I have this irrational fear of appendicitis for example. Everytime my stomach hurts I'm like "Oh God." Usually its just because I need to drop a deuce.

I had to get mine removed a couple months ago. I remember sitting at work thinking I had constipation. At the end of the day I could barely walk and I went home to lie down. My brother and his gf saw me trying to climb the steps and said we should go to the hospital. Luckily we did , but I remember the pain and discomfort in the waiting room was hell. My biggest fear was the surgery though. I've always been afraid of surgery , but after that experience the fear seems to have gone away.

I always did say, Google "prions" if you don't want to sleep tonight. :hehe:

Yeah, 4 cases EVER in the US mean it's really nothing to worry about.

Fear of appendicitis is a good one. I fear that and stones. Stones sound painful as hell.

Worrying ain't entirely a bad thing. Just like being pessimistic isn't entirely bad. It allows you to re-examine things and make sure that the choice you make isn't a bad one.

Oh thats another one. Kidney stones are no joke. I really need to stop drinking soda.:csad:

Water is key. But soda doesn't have to be eliminated if you want to enjoy one or two. Moderation.

I was drinking like 2 cans a day but yeah now I drink a lot more water and drink soda just maybe 2-3 times a week at most. Supposedly citrus also helps eliminating the risk of kidney stones and I sure do love orange juice.

I thought orange juice could also cause stones? I'll have to check.
