Can't stop rewatching it again and again. Forman deserved his second Oscar award for such piece of gold! The main characters felt so powerful that the rest of story was based on their relationship to each other.

And although everybody managed to look perfect in their roles, F. Murray Abraham was amazing showing Salieri as both one of the greatest movie villains and the most complex movie character based on a true origin.

The rest of the film (direction, cinematography, music, editing) was made on a high level, so a viewer is paying so much attention to the story that he/she forgets about the time passed.

Great film!

I have only seen the Director's Cut, but it was amazing. Even if you don't like opera, this movie pulls you in.

It was a great movie.

Wasn't the 80's song "Rock Me Amadeus" inspired by the movie?

Yeah, love this movie, I got the original cut dvd this year, ie not re-mastered, scratches and all. I saw some of the re-mastered director's cut at a friends house and the little adds bugged me as I thought it was already perfect. I'd rather watch it with scratches than adds.

I remember going on a class trip to see this with my theater class in Junior High. I effin loved in then and I effin love it now.

OMG, I love this movie. Friggin' Masterpiece!

This is indeed a great film. Abrahams' brilliant performance often overshadows Tom Hulce's equally brilliant work. This was just a great great film.

I don't even like Classical music, and it's one of my favorite films of all time.

This movie is a classic, and I am proud to have it in my DVD collection.

This film got me into Classical music.

This film got me into Classical music.

That was 2001: A Space Odyssey for me. But this one has a great selection of music
