Comics Amazing Spider-Man #603 preview (spoilers)

Now that is a very interesting preview. And I have to agree with stillanerd. Definitely will make Peter's life WAY more complicated but I think we are seeing that, for sure, that Michelle likes Peter. :wow:

This is a prime example of why Chameleon is one of my favorite villains.

At the least, she's been quickly established as a Tsundere. And
if you think she was angry before when she Peter didn't remember their drunken hook-up, just imagine how furious she'll get when Peter tries to explain that he never had sex with her on the kitchen floor.

EDIT: BTW, I hope this isn't going to lead to some
"Who's the daddy?" subplot, with Michelle getting pregnant and Peter not knowing whether or not he's the father of Michelle's baby before revealing it's the Chameleon's.

CHameleon ****in rocks!

Can't wait for the issue, this little story arch looks to be a great one, really throwing Pete's personal life into a tumble. Can't wait to see how MJ catches on to its not the real Pete, cause you know she will.

I just wonder how or if the Chameleon story will tie in with the Ana Kravinoff story that is coming up. Chameleon and Kraven were always tied together.

I had a rather disturbing thought:
isn't the Chameleon technically raping Michelle in this preview? After all, he's taking advantage of the fact that she thinks he's Peter, and if she realized "Peter" was an impostor, she wouldn't have given her consent, would she. Of course, the whole idea that she's willing to still have sex with Peter despite having undergone what was the most humiliating experiences any sane woman would have had pretty much underscores her being a walking plot device rather than a character.

No....

She fell into his "Darkness"....
:woot:

I think i definately wouldn't want my kids reading this soap opera trash that spidey has tweened into.

We can't show a healthy marriage in comics, or smoking.

But beyond the devil deals, now we're getting into drunken one night stand sex and now this kitchen sex.

More disturbing...is this girl Michelle is being taken advantage of emotionally and physically, under false pretense, by a fake Peter.

lol. Wow, MJ's got one UGLY mug on that cover. She looks like a grown-up Punky Brewster! Terribly unattractive, have to say. :o

The preview on the other hand is awesome. All Michelle needed was some good ole' loving... Personally, I always figure the Chameleon was gay though, what with his obsession with being Sergei's whipping boy. Anyway, I like any Spider-Man preview that gives farmernudie a conniption fit, just on that principle. :oldrazz: Gooooooooo kitchen sex, YEAH!!!:woot:

My "conniption fits" amuse you, eh??...LOL...:cwink:...better go get my meds....

Seriously, I'm just not amused, as some are, and more old fashioned i guess. But that's ok.

It's shock to boost sales..this new "SEX BY PAGE FOUR" strategy...lol..if this is what people like....they can buy it and woohoo as much as they want.

I'm just not amused by Michele having sex with real or fake Peters, honestly.

Yeah, the term "butterface" should never be applicable to Mary Jane.

Oh yeah. The Gonzalez family is REALLY not going to like Peter Parker! And that is a very interesting theory you have. I could actually see them doing something like that.

That cover is pretty terrible; it was a good idea but lacked some proper execution. MJ's face is what does it in.

Looks good, though. Things are really gonna suck for Pete, though.:woot:

I just wonder how or if the Chameleon story will tie in with the Ana Kravinoff story that is coming up. Chameleon and Kraven were always tied together.

Dmitri Smerdyakov was the illegitimate son of the patriarch of the Russian Kravinoff family and a servant. His only friend growing up was Joe Cord, an American boy who once saved his life while his half-brother Sergei, the legitimate heir, and his father treated him with contempt and brutality. This scarred Dmitri so deeply that he repressed his very identity and came to believe he had been friends with Sergei instead. His loss of self led him to become a master of disguise and a Soviet spy. Initially without super-powers, the Chameleon relied on his skills and a mixture of costumes and make-up to conceal his identity. He wore a multi-pocket disguise vest in which he kept the materials he would need to mask himself at short notice.
Aloha,
I think it likely that they will meet up at some point.
Spidey rules

Yikes!

And I mean the direction of the story, not the cover! :oldrazz:

And if they do the whole "who's baby" subplot, man, what does that say that Joe Q made Pete single to bring more younger readers?

Oh come on now, what young twenty something hasn't had a pregnancy scare?

I've seen 12-14 year old pregnant girls

An 8 year old isn't that far off, kids these days know a lot more than we give them credit for, regardless if that is a good or bad thing.

Or, say an eight year old?

Is Peter eight? No, he's a twenty-something adult male. And does it really matter if a 8 year old picked up Amazing and saw Peter wake up next to Michelle? I remember seeing MJ being depicted in the shower quite a bit when I was much younger, or taking "tasteful" photos for Peter. Or any other Marvel female character with a barely there costume and bulging breasts. I just saw on the news that Miley Cyrus did a pole dance at the Teen Choice Awards. The uproar over this whole thing is silly.

Go to a comic shop, average age is mid 30's.
Kids don't read comics.
