We have the Anne Rice "Immortal Universe" on AMC with Interview with the Vampire and now Mayfair Witches. Is it right to assume we will eventually get to the tentpole book adaptation QOTD?

I'd love to discuss what that might look like based on what we have seen so far.

Also, does anyone think there will be a Prince Lestat: Realms of Atlantis or any of the subsequent material?

Well AMC bought the rights to all of the books so I assume that they will tackle Prince Lestat: Realms of Atlantis eventually. I also haven’t read the books just seen the two movies Interview With The Vampire and Queen of the Damed so I have a vague idea of what to expect but since these series are based on the books that allows me to be surprised by certain events. I did however go to Wikipedia and check out some summaries.

It's an interesting thing. I did some research on the author Anne Rice. In the Interview book, Lestat was made to be more of an antagonist figure in the background. The AMC series seems to have gone in that direction, making Louis the main or at least co-focus. I could be mistaken, it was only after writing Queen that Rice created the backstory for Lestat w the book bearing his name coming before.

This cannot be spoiler since it's published material and there is no series yet. That only after Queen does Lestat really evolve into an archetypal figure. The book Vampire Lestat seems even made purposefully to lead him into his destiny with Akasha and TWMBK.

Queen is like the tentpole around which the whole mythology of these vampires rests. That's why I am so excited to discuss what the possibilities are with AMC leading up to that. I'm very excited for her version of the vampire culture and world-building. It seems every modern vampire idea came from her stories. From True Blood to Twilight. Except, they aren't as good.

If you don't like reading or can't, try the audiobook version of, say, QOTD. It's a really good experience imo

The way things are going I think a form of QOTD will be done, but it's going to diverge greatly from the source material. The term "Team Up" comes to mind
