That phrase and various incarnations of the phrase haven't been used too often since 9/11 and a couple years after, but I was driving back from work through one of the more rural towns near me, and one of the gas stations had on their marquee, complete with the flag, "America, love it or leave it." Some people are still in that mindset apparantly, but even when they started using it, it always struck me as being somewhat hypocritical, as apparantly we have the freedom to critisize the country, yet we shouldn't use it, according to this statement. Anyone you know of ever used this statement in a debate or in some type of advertisement lately?
