Bush does it again.

Are you seriously comparing Stalin to Bush? I'd suggest doing some research on the two. The only similarity you'll find is that they're both men.

OK, maybe this will make those people who did not believe all those documentaries out about Bush ruining USA think twice. Also, it may make you believe a little more in the idea that USA is starting to become a modern Oceania. We see the "Leader" paraded on TV (Telescreens) as being great when he is the lowest of low. Sounds like Big Brother and his ministry has gotten to the US of A to me.

I just hope this does not happen here in Canada too, but as we all know or should know from history Governments lie. So, the government of Canada may also be covering something up. Who Knows?

I personally do not trust politicians and find most TV and Paper news media completely biased, even some here in Canada. I also am not that big a fan of Stephen Harper, but I will do more research before judging him.
Much as I have done my research on Bush and his cronnies.

Do not forget the Constant wars with Eurasia and Eastasia, (Middle east anyone?) Of course, they were all Bull**** in the novel by Orwell.

I was clearly making a joke, its actually a reference to Borat, watch Ali G season 2 to get it. Why would you thinking anythg in that post was serious, did you not read it all the way? Are you a bit slow or something?

I haven't seen Borat or Ali G and I have seen people who are serious when they compare Bush to Stalin or Hitler. Plus I'm tired.

I was making references to George Orwell's 1984 in my post, the government in that novel used a lot of anti-privacy tactics, in the so-called name of security.

It is easy to compare it somewhat to what is going on now, where a leader is saying "we will take privacy, but because you need it gone for security."
Of course, less privacy makes you no more securer and the run up to the war in Iraq was pure Bull****, just like the justification of Wars in "1984."

I am not saying America IS Oceania, I am saying if you let all the liberties go it can become like that in many ways, especially if the UN suddenly disappears.

Everything I said in that post was intentionally silly and over the top, you must be sleep walking if you thought any of that was serious. Did you think I was serious about reporting people on this thread to the FBI as well?

I can never tell when it comes to bashing Bush.

I knew it was from 1984 even though I've never read it. I don't know what Oceania is like though.

Did you think I was serious about reporting people on this thread to the FBI for "thought crimes" as well? Buddy get some sleep, you're seeing phantom enemies everyhwere.

To Spidey Bat whom never read 1984....

In the Novel 1984, everyone EXCEPT Winston smith has been brainwashed into believing everything the government says. They watch you, they pry, they say if you are against the government you can be taken in and tortured. The government puts a ban on Sex and wants to eliminate the Orgrasm. They make up and pull of wars just to keep the populas in check. They ration food, when they say it went up it means the government let a little more slip past them, they ration and have hardly any razors when the story begins.
Winston falls in love, which is forbidden in Oceania, and well, I won't ruin the story, let us call Oceania HELL ON EARTH GOVERNMENT! Of course, the government does not admit to torturing because of not thinking like the government in the novel, they call them Terrorists and parade them at the populis with startling and torture induced confessions. They erase the past to fit the Mold of the Current Government and even make 2+2=5 and people believe it! This is just the Start, read the story and see what a Real Nightmare Government and State is! 1984 is required reading by anybody wanting to know what a government is capable of with too much power.

Hmm, I always thought of Bush as "Big Brother, Without a Brain". :woot:

None may question our glorious leader, Premier George Walter Bush. He is a powerful leader, like Stalin and he will not tolerate who are "bad". I have already recorded all the thought crimes that have occured on this thread and will send them to the FBI. Prepasre to be taken in the middle of the night and be before a military tribunal for thinking UnAmerican thoughts.

not to nitpick but isn't it George Walker Bush?

Guys, don't blame Bush, blame teh JOOOOOO's!!1111

Move to Canada instead... Lil'Bush Jr. still operates England.

Though the Canadian PM is a Bush Jr. wanna-be...

:csad:

Are the girls hot in Canada? That would be my primary concern in emigrating to a foreign land. Just in case i gain the ability to get a girlfriend.

Our Canadian PM is a little too chummy with the President for my liking.
He even gets to call him Steve, while others need to call him Stephen Harper.

this line caught my eye:

Bush has issued at least 750 signing statements during his presidency, more than all other presidents combined, according to the American Bar Association.

this smells like another one of cheney's paranoid, power-hungry moves. it's well documented that he's long held the belief that the president should have nearly unlimited power.

Bush is always trying to circumvent the constitution. It's really no wonder why historians have pronouched him the worst president in the history of America.

I can only imagine how long it will be before Britan catches up.
