American Gladitors sucked on the NES, an updated version probably won't be much better.

Oh gosh that was a horrible game! It made me want to stop watching the show...

Anyway... I think measures of raw strength and endurance have a hard time being translated into gameplay format believably. Perhaps an American Gladiators 2099 where skill and agility are more deciding factors...

I remember the NES version was impossible. I couldn't get past one or two events without failing miserably. I don't really see where an update would help... it'd be a lot like those video game versions of the Olympics they used to put out (or still do?)
