An idea I had. What if each marvel film had its own comics continuity?

I keep noticing that some of my favorite marvel movies never got the sequels they so rightfully deserved. So I was thinking and I came up with this idea which I thought was pretty good. Why dont they, after the movie is made, create a continuity that takes place in the same universe as the characters from the movie and have an art style completely based off of the movie(s)? To me I truly think that could work extremely well and may even be better then an official sequel.

What do you all think of this idea?

I imagine Marvel would consider that redundant, since the movies are based on the comics and the characters already have their own comics. Then again, Marvel's released comics specifically set within Iron Man's movie continuity already, so I guess it's possible.
