If Marvel had a Superboy Prime...

If Marvel had a hammer, would it hammer all day long?

I believe it would. It would probably take that hammer to a railroad and work on it all the live-long day.

I'd rather be a hammer than a nail... yes I would...

"It's not how much force the hammer applies, it's how much the nail can take." Mao Tse.

I had an idea like this, What if Marvel had a Crisis on Infinate Earths?
In it Beyonder was the cause of the destruction of universes because he kept editing them until he deleted them all together.
I guess this would be the sequal, "What if Marvel did Infinite Crisis?"
In this story before being stopped, sent back to his own dimension, or destroyed, the Beyonder put a small part of himself into another character. Like say he put a small part of himself, a part of his power and conciousness, into Scarlet Witch.
Without knowing she would alter reality just by existing, almost like the Beyonder's power would radiate throughout the universe causing changes that should have never happened. (This could also explain how Wanda became so powerful she caused Avengers: Disassembled and took away almost every mutants powers.)

Other things that would be explained away would be things like:
Gwen's cheating on Peter with Osborne.
Jean Grey's return (maybe)
Onslaught
maybe Age of Apocalypse
Bucky's return, (would undo it though, I like the idea.)
The Young Avengers (wouldn't undo this either)
Darik Beast's and Holocaust's existance in our reality.
Peter Parker's power changes.
How a character dies but then comes back. (good guys and bad guys)
explain Liefield's X-Force's return story.
Ben Reily and the clone saga would definatly be part of all this.

I don't know, I'd have to think about this more.

but didn't they already do this in She-Hulk?
they had an issue where they explained away all the little mix ups, like when a character apeares when they are suppossed to be somewhere else or when a story line is alterred and such.
I never read it but I read about it.
What was the cause?

What is the current shortest Retcon ever? I forgot.

I hear they're changing Superman's origin bi-monthly, these days.

They're kinda just adding stuff as they go along.

If Marvel had a hammer, would it hammer all day long?

They're doing that right now.

They hammer in the morning.
They hammer in the evening, all over this land.
They hammer out danger.
They hammer out a warning, yeah.
They hammer out love between their brothers and sisters...hmmm.
All over this land.

I just found something else. Remember when Doc Samson got in to Hulk's mind in Incredible #377 and united Bruce, Green Hulk, and Gray Hulk into one perfect Smart Hulk? That lasted for a while, then Paul Jenkins came along and basically said that this Smart Hulk wasn't a unified version of the Hulk's three personas at all, but a fourth one called "The Professor," who actually looked and acted differently than the Smart Hulk we had come to know. After that, Hulk was returned to a more traditional mindless, misunderstood monster version. From there, somehow (I haven't followed the books in a while), they send Hulk into space and that leads to Planet Hulk.

That seems kind of cheap, finally getting Bruce some stability and then taking it away by pretending it was something it wasn't. There's another thing that the Scarlet Witch thing would help explain. Honestly, I wouldn't mind seeing Smart Hulk make a comeback.

There was an actual post here, but I decided it was too stupid even for me, so I deleted it.

Move along, nothing more to see.

It could explain all the thought Dead villains returning in the first NA Arc on the Raft.....that Bendis said he would explain and do somethin with but has still yet to do anything with......

Maybe they're all skrulls.
