And you thought you had a bad day

Wouldn't shooting the Buffalo be interfering with natural selection? Sounds to me like natural selection said "Bison, today you shall LIVE!"

The bison probably would've died once the fight or flight response stopped.

Also, for all of you who are rooting against the bear, I hope you have trouble getting your next meal.

You are neither a noble bison nor a cuddly bear. No one cares.

I wonder if the bear had any A1 steak sauce with him???:woot:

This situation is a perfect example of survival of the fittest.

He would have probably suffered in a lot of pain for a while beforehand too. :csad: They did the right thing. Although the bear probably would have liked to be there for it. :funny:

I feel bad for the Bison, but its so random its funny.

So they just throw that 400+lb of steak and hamburger away? Damn, now I really feel sorry for that bear..

i guess the bison couldn't just bear it anymore. :o

I wonder what Yogi the bear was up to at that time?

I feel bad for the bison, cuz that's gotta be a lot of torture to go through for an animal. So in that aspect, I'm glad it got away from the bear.

But I understand nature, so sucks also that the bear didn't get dinner.

Shouldn't the bear be hibernating instead of harassing other animals during the winter? :argh:
