There's a many a well traveled Hypsters. :word:

So here is a place to get some info from others about trips you maybe venturing on. It could also be used as a blog while you're away or once you return. I love hearing about other peoples traveling experiences. :ninja:

So bookmark and provide links to some great resources/hot spots.

I haven't any trips planned as of yet. I'm toying with the idea of a weekend trip to New Jersey for a convention. But come spring,Prague. :woot:

One of my many hostel resource.

I'd love to hear someone's experience of this ice hotel in Canada.I travel alone mostly and this is more of a couples thing. I almost made it there last year.

Here's another couples thing,I'm adventurous but again staying in a tree-house would be so ****ing cool with a hot guy.

Cool. I've never really traveled anywhere much outside my own town.

Always wanted to, though. I plan to someday, but I'm not really sure how to go about it. Any opinions on how I could go about this, Tzarinna?

Where do you want to go?
Staying in Hostels are the cheap way to go.

I have...no idea.

I suppose I should think on that more.

What do hostels cost?

Wait, it says in your link.

Damn I'm stupid

Did you leave yet Hades?

Does anyone else have a Prague trip to share?
Kaindamo turned me off to going.

Now this is a thread I can jump into.
I've been fortunate enough to travel a lot in the past few years.
Every year my mom puts some money aside so we can spend a week or 2 every summer on vacation.

In 2005 I went to England, France and Belgium
In 2004 it was Jamaica and Canada
In 2003 it was Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Mexico
In 2002 I went to Disney World and Universal

I missed out on this year's vacation because my mom broke her foot.
Next year I'll probably go on a cruise
'08 will probably be between Australia, Finland and Poland

The stamps of all the different countries make my passport look pretty awesome

I'm going on a school trip to Great Wolf Lodge in The Pochonos in November. My school is also planning a 12-day trip to South Africa this Spring, and possibly a cruise in December.

I might hit Belgium when I go to Prague,Carter.
My uncle is from South Africa,Anthony, your money will go far.

Well, it's far from official. My mom is very apprehensive. I'm only going if my friends go. Otherwise, I'll probably stay behind. Otherwise, I'd feel kind of uncomfortable about being around people I'm not familliar with for nearly two weeks.

My school goes on many trips out of the country. Two years ago we went to Cozumel in Mexico. It was awesome. The water there is so beautiful.

Check out a Belgian waffle
They aren't giant eggos like over here

Last year I travelled quite a bit, Germany, Cancun & Dominican Republic (this was due to Hurricane Wilma, we were evacuated there)

This year I've only been to Malia, Crete my first holiday of this kind, getting absolutely smashed every night and having a excellent holiday. My only gripe was not seeing more of the island, but I did take the quad bike a couple of miles up the coast for a few hours! I'm also off to Tenerife (again) for Christmas, its a family tradition but we haven't been for a few years still.

Next year I'm hoping to go New York and possibly interrail around Europe in the summer. I also want to go back to Egypt for another cruise down the Nile and I think Morocco is also on the cards. Great thread  I love to travel, TV presenters on the holiday shows have one of the best jobs!

Where did you go in Germany? Dreseden was my favorite and I stayed in a a fantastic Guesthouse/Hostel. *Le Sigh* How I pine for that place.

I want to make a trip to Egypt in a year or so. Any tips?

I'm a guy that loves home, so I don't travel much, nor do I have the money to.

The countries I have visited are:

Amsterdam-2006.
Tenerife-2006
Crete/Greece-2005
Ibiza-2004
Turkey-2002
France-1998.

:)

Turkey and Greece are on my list.
I thought about going to the Greek Islands when I graduate from this damn apprenticeship next year.

How long did you stay there and in Amsterdam? What season were you in Greece, was it crowded?
I perfer to travel in the Spring,May usually.

Well...I didn't go to actual greece. But Crete, one of the greek islands. It was a nice place, very beautiful and it didn't seem OVER crowded to me. It was the worst holiday I had been on but that was due to the flight company f**king things up. we had a 3 day delay there and back. :o I also trapped a nerve in my hand and couldn't move my hand. but apart from that it was nice. I went for a week and I went in August 2005.

Amsterdam I went this year in March. It wasn't HOT but it wasn't cold. it was quite nice. It's not the hottest city in the world though. It's a great place if you love art and if you appreciate a city with a devine history. I went to the van gogh gallery which was awesome. The Anne Frank House and the Heineken brewery which was probably the best trip because it was good haha and we got drinks. It's also good if you like jazz clubs and if you like cafes. not just to smoke coffee if you know what I mean.

But I definetely reccommend Amsterdam and not just because of pot. :)
It's a great city!

I thought this was a good resource. I got it of of fodor's site.

I don't...I wouldn't tarvel back in time.

...

:o I've misread the title of this thread.

I am going to a NFL game (Carolina Panthers crushing--err vs St. Louis Rams) here in North carolina. Have to go on a bus. I'll share my lame experiences on the bus.

I'd like to see Amsterdam, but that's not easily explainable to the family.
"So, Nick why are you going to Amsterdam?"
"......the culture...."
