I don't know if he has been suggested as a possible replacement for Sam Raimi, but what do you think of him? He directed the first two Shrek movies, Chronicles of Narnia, and is directing the Narnia sequel.

The first Narnia movie was done very well. I would still prefer Raimi, though; however, I enjoyed this guys work so far.

Maybe...Narnia was missing a sense of humanity and felt a little...manufactured. But was still a decent family movie and both Shrek movies he did ironically had more heart than his live action first attempt.

Maybe. Not my first choice, though.
