I think DD should reboot same as Batman and Hulk. I'd throw Missy Peregrym out there for Elektra if it's an origin story. Base it on Frank Miller's "Man Without Fear" mini. Maybe tone down the pedophile theme though? Dark is dark, but Miller can be DAAAARK!

I see what your saying and now that i think of it,
I thought she was great as electra in dd,
but in electra, she was too serious, and had this "blue steel"(zoolander) face going on. I think it was the script tho,

Back when I didn't hate casting threads, I suggested Angelina as Elektra. I was met with even more skepticism than on this thread. Now I'm not so sure I'd want her in the role.
