Looks like Daredevil & Elektra will go back to Marvel

I don't want Jason Behr as DD....

No that's good news. That means that Marvel will end up making Daredevil 2 without 20th Century Fox completely f**king it up. That means we could get Elektra to show up in a Marvel movie DONE RIGHT.

Good, even though I didnt like the movies much.

 

I like him, but I agree AD, too many people dont like him...

 

So when are they going back to marvel ? When will we see the beginning of a DD2 ( and without Fox which isn't a bad thing )

But I'm not interest in cameo nor crossover. DD is cool when he is in his own realistic and dark world

 

When the rights for DD & Elektra go back to Marvel, they need to reboot both franchises. Fans won't mind, and the general public didn't pay much attention to either film in the first place, but both deserve better. And this is coming from someone who enjoyed the director's cut of DD. I'd love to see Rodriguez & Miller take over both properties for Marvel.

How about just Daredevil?? He doesn't need Elektra. But this is good news...I think. Because even if Marvel gets the rights back they already have alot of movies on their plate already so I can't see a Daredevil sequel happening anytime soon anyway. I suggest they go with a loosely connected sequel like Superman Returns did. Keep some things connected and just forget others.

 

So what films could Elektra be in? Xmen(their spinoffs) are the only ones I can think of.

 

A reboot to the Elektra franchise could be done too.

 

If Incredible Hulk is going to be a sequel to Hulk, I bet that a Daredevil movie by Marvel is going to be a sequel the original Daredevil.

 

Well actually in all honesty I don't see Elektra working on her own. Especially after that ****ty theatrical debut for the general public. While the character is good I just don't see her as enough of a moneymaker.

Well yeah considering I thought the script was ready to go a long time ago and they don't even have a shooting script ready. Hope it doesn't go standstill like Hulk did.

 

I'd rather Punisher get delayed further so that the rights revert to Marvel on that one as well. We already have enough movies slated through 2008 now. As long as we're talking about 2009 and beyond, I'd like to see everything done through Marvel Studios. This DD news is good. Seeing as how the "sequel" will launch like 7 years after the original movie, and most likely won't star Afflek, I think a relaunch is a must.
