what decent stories does aquaman have?

i'm asking out of curiosity, not slating...

He's got the story when he was banished from his Kingdom and he wore the cool blue suit until he became king again. There's the whole Sub Deigo thing. He's been transported back in time and turned into a water being. Ocean Master has kidnapped his son. He's got his hand lopped off.

All those things would probably do pretty good in a movie.
