DCs plan to relaunch titles is a welcome Crisis of Infinite possibilities

So about DC Comics big plan to relaunch its superhero comics with new No. 1 issues, new costumes and new(ish) origins. I think comics scribe and Twitter addict Gail Simone sums it up best.
Its time for an adventure, Simone tweets. Yes, we are walking the high wire. But I suspect the view will be amazing. Come walk with us.
I say why the hell not?
DC plans 52 first issues (yes, yet another numerical tie-in to the 52 Earths of DCs Multiverse) with day-and-date digital distribution. Its a bold move for one of the Big Two comic publishers. Its also a move the industry and especially DC had to make. And this isnt just because, as the USA Today notes, DC has trailed Marvel in market share since 2002.
