Any Crazy Near Death Experiences?

Have any of you ever been in a situation where you barely missed being involved in a life-threatening ordeal? I know I have. September 11, 2001, 8:28 AM approximately, I was inside the World Trade Center, floor 96. It was at about that time when I decided to go home, but at the same time, I was thinking about staying inside the South Tower for another hour or so. A few minutes later, I got a phone call from a friend of mine, Nick, asking for me to visit him. Seeing as I had the day off from work, I agreed, and took the subway to his house. When I finally got to his house, at around 9:17, he started freaking out about seeing something on CNN, so I rushed in and saw smoke escaping from the inside of the building. I looked closer and was like, Holy Sh**! The plane was pretty much where I would have been standing had I been there for another hour. Then the rest just put me into shock for months. But that's all I want to say right now. So... read the first statement and answer?

I went to Put In Bay, Ohio on Spring Break once.

Too bad it was cold as hell, and the island was abandoned. We almost died due to our weird hotel manager and the rednecks on the island

I saw Catwoman, to make sure my friends would survive. I'm a hero allthough I had to kill 1 or 2 of my friends.

I tossed my copy of the Lost Boys into the garbage after seeing B&R.

I and my best friend almost got hit by a car last summer. A truck ran into the car and the car started coming our direction until it hit a stop sign slowing it down just enough to stop before it could have hit us. We ran as soon as we saw it coming but it would have it us if it wasn't for the stop sign.
