Any new marvel martial arts movies coming out?

Iron Fist...

Yes, I think Iron Fist could be one of Marvel's best martial arts epic. I also think that the first arc to his ongoing series could serve as a perfect plot. I think the rumors of Ray Park being in the film are done. I don't think he's going to be in the movie so I think they should recast the role. I want Iron Fist's new suit in his new series to be the suit for the film. It would be easier to bring on screen and the ninja boots are a great addition to the suit. I hope to see alot of what Danny knows in the movie. Meaning what he learns as a martial artist. Danny is a martial arts master, and when you think about it, knows everything of the K'un-Lun, Chinese and Japenese martial arts. Just read his comics....So yes, I think Iron Fist has huge potential. I think Woo-Ping Yuen who worked on Jet Li's Fearless should help on the martial arts stunts.

I was also thinking ahead of what a sequel to Iron Fist could be like, and in the next arc of his series, Danny will take part in a martial arts tournament. I think it'd be cool and a set up for it could probably happen in the first film.

To show what I mean....

It would show more of Danny's sensei Lei-Kung and the lord of K'un-Lun, Yu-Ti. When I think about how the fights could happen, I look at the show called Naruto, where we see ninja warriors using fighting styles and etc. The people in the pics are the Immortal Weapons of K'un-Lun and the ones Danny will face. We see a Japanese fighter, and various others aswell as Danny's enemy, the Steel Serpent. So to say it again, I think the movie as huge potential, and those are some of the ideas I had in mind. :woot:

Also, I think that if Iron Fist happens first, then Shang-Chi could probably make a cameo in his movie.

Great ideas. It would be cool if the director looked up ancient forms of Chinese and Japanese martial arts and have Woo-Ping Yuen to bring them to life.
