Movieholes mailbag suggests (after I posted a question) that Tom Jane will indeed be at the ComicCon. Not sure if LGF has a panel but he'll probably be there with Raw Entertainment. If he's there on Saturday I promise you all I'll get an answer on Punisher 2 and I won't just ask one question either. If he's there on another day I leave to VileOne or someone else.

I asked my TA at NCSA film school(she worked at lionsgate for awhile) about the movie and she said they didn;t say anthing about it. They only talked about another comicbook movie and saw 3 which she read 3 pages of she said it was good.

AD or VileOne, be sure if you can, to ask Tom Jane when exactly does he think the sequel will start filming. I'm hoping for Jan. of 07 or during the summer of next year.

If I see TJ at the comic-con and gonna ask him flat out and I'm gonna say please give me a realistic scenerio...Is it even a priority at LGF. God I hope this property goes back to MVL and Jane helps produce it over there.

This movie seems even deader than Hellboy 2 which was released in the same year. At least director Guillermo Del Toro gives frequent updates about the status and at least theres going to be a couple Hellboy animated direct-to-dvd movies to fill the void between the sequel

With Punisher, i'm not sure whats going on any more. I don't get the feeling Lion's Gate are actively trying to get this made.

Is this movie ever going to made and what is going on with that proposed Punisher live-action tv series? Why doesnt Hensleigh give interviews?

2. Is the ball actually rolling (however slow), or is it sitting still and nobody cares?
3. Is Frank Castle/The Punisher more of an executioner like in the comics, or does he plan thorough revenge like in the movie?
4. Will there be another Punisher videogame?

I hate to say it but the more time passes with no news or updates, the more unlikely there will be a sequel in the near future or at all. Lionsgate hasn't even officially announced a sequel yet and it's been over two years since the first was released in theaters.

Just...what happened to the old script. It was so good
