I did. He kicks ass. Sure, he was kind of corny, but that was kind of the point of the character.

He died of heart atack when his powers failed him. Some paralyzed cop wearing a magical super suit took over for him, but he hasn't been seen since.

Well, he went back and forth between super powered hero form and regular human form. His regular human form, as you can imagine, is susceptible to the same physical weaknesses that we all are. Including heart atacks.

Was it the transformation back and forth that caused his heart attack?

Sort of. His regular human form was older and in bad health, so one time he changed back and just had a heart atack.

Oh yeah,... Guy Gardners BoyHood Hero,....

I liked him,... Like Captain America but with only 2/3'rds the tactical knowledge and 6/5ths the heart.


His dying was no surprize,... Marvel would've sued for copy infridgement if he'd stuck around.

Too bad - I did like him.
