College books are way too expensive. Getting 2nd hand books is an option. I've never looked on ebay but you should be able to get books cheaply from guys in the year above.

God, buying textbooks is a pain in the arse, what classes are you taking this semester? anyways here are some websites to buy textbooks, I too am currently looking for some.

campusbooks.com <--this place gives a comparison of prices from all the places where you might find the book.

half.com<- not a bad place to look, I usually use it as a first and last resort if I can not find the price for which I'm looking for.

I buy all my books at the University bookstore in person, but that's because I'm lucky enough to live in a University city. I'm having a blast, actually, because my classes are Library Studies, English, and Comparitive literature all year, which means I'm reading NOVELS, baby!

That's the best part of being an English major - getting to read good novels, and no daily homework.

Sure, there are the four fifteen-page essays due at the end of the semester, but what with that whole NO HOMEWORK thing, I can start early on those.

Luckily, I only have one class this semester because I'm transfering, so I just need Spanish, which would cost me $112 from the campus.
