Like Batman following over the rooftops, lots of tension? Of course, it would look best if it happened at night

Hey shawn, been a while. Yes, I would like a great foot chase in TDK.

What up Ronny? I don't get much time to come on here with the real people anymore...Damn feds

I'd love a foot-chase. But they'd need to refine the suit first. As is, I don't even think you can move really fast in that thing, jogging at best.

Otherwise, all for it. It's something we haven't seen Bats do on film yet.

yeah just like the animated series , great idea !

Well, we do know he can run in the suit. Bruce hauled ass ontop of that rooftop when Gordon was after him.

The suit is ALOT more flexible than people seem to think....

My question would be about the other guy. The one he'd be chasing. That'd be the trick to pull off, b/c I don't think it'd be much of a problem showing Batman get from rooftop to rooftop.

Besides... they could modify the suit for the purposes of shooting a foot chase scene. I would love to see more on foot stunts with the Bat. That scene with Gordon rocked out completely and utterly.

yeah, obviously he can still run fast in the suit, but that was without the cape.
but yeah, if they find a way to do it while wearing the cape, i think it would be awesome.

Im pretty sure we will get one whether we like it or not.
A straight up 40's mystery foot chase through darkened alleys, though Batman might be on the roof.

I'd rather see someone running from him, and Batman managing to track him a la the chase of Bigger in "The Joker's Five Way Revenge".

Well, that's the thing about Batman.....he seems to be fast enough and silent enough to move and you not even notice. It's his "thing" really, everywhere.

We saw him jogging through Arkham a bit, so it's not like his feet are in wet cement as in the previous films.

And, yeah the cape could make it look dramatic....but we saw him haul ass in the suit, so we know it's flexible enough once he took a dive off that roof. So, I wouldn't worry in the least as to him being able to run.

Again, I'd wonder more about WHO he's chasing, since you'd have to explain how that person would even be able to get that far with the Bat.

By going into the sewer and crawling a couple of blocks underground. It's a shock thing, not "He almost gets away from Batman". Batman lets him think he escaped...and then BAM, there he is.

Well, that'd be cool.

But....I thought we were talking about a ROOFTOP chase....

Bats are nocturnal.
If such thing ever happen, it must happen at night. Of course.
:batman:

I think a footchase between the batman and catwoman over the rooftops of gotham would be cool, like the "chase me" animated short... but not for TDK, though...

I'd love a Batman footchase.... it was rumored at BOF a while ago that there would be a huge action sequence that takes place at a tenement building that I assumed was Batman chasing either Zzazz or Joker.

And dont kid yourselves, these stuntman can haul ass in that suit, cape or not.

Would love to see a foot chase...like in the animated series.

It would obviously have to be Batman chasing someone, or running from danger. The question is?

Does he chase someone:

Who is running on the rooftops?
Who is running on the streets?
Who is driving a car?

Does he get chased by:

Someone in a helecopter?

I think it would be awesome to maybe have the foot chase, turn into the car chase.

Batman could be running on the rooftop, chasing a car...(or chasing someone on foot who than gets into a car)...Have Batman chase the car by foot for a few more seconds...than VVVVRRRROOOOOAAARR! The Tumbler Busts in, Batman swoops down, and jumps in it and starts smashing things...YAY!!!

I'd like something similar to the way one of the agents was chasing Trinity on rooftops in the first Matrix film. Minus, the slow-mo super jumps :p

That's what I imagine, or something like from the first Crow movie. And i agree with no slo-mo super jumps, that's so 1999.

Batman could be chasing down the Joker, like at the end of the Laughing Fish story. In the rain. (ala Blade Runner?)

Hard, fast, rough leaps are the best... like when he peaced out on Gordon :D

Except maybe this time he won't crash.
