Shaddup! The Civil War was fought over a **** load of diffrent issues, Slavery didn't become a real reason until Abe told people that to give them moral high ground over the south.

I'd say the main reason was to preserve the Union. Even before Fort Sumter, the US could not allow states to just secede. If that happened then other states and territories would've been leaving if they disagreed with the main government.

Can't have that.

Main reason was colliding economic systems. The North was thriving with Industrialism, but the South wanted to stick with agriculture. That is how Slavery was brought in; industrialism didn't require slaves.

Hrmmm....I don't know how far we want to stretch the time periods. I was really thinking to keep it all pre-WWI. Lindbergh was in the 30s, so that might be out.

Charlie and I will have to discuss how specific/non-specific we want to be.

I'm not really sure here, I think too much creativity will end in lotsa people doing solo arcs, and the lack of interaction will hurt the RPG.

I think the RPG needs to be more localised and focused, in order to stop people from joining, doing a little solo-ing then quitting.

I suppose a Transylvania-only RPG might work. Still, I prefer it to be more open. That way it'll keep from pigeon-holing players who have other ideas.

Looking back how it has been since the introduction of the RPGs section and the addition of being able to create newer RPGs...I think this RPG needs a lot more players interested. Not too many players have taken interest, and sadly but to be brutally honest? Not all are known for their activeness. Not saying there are bad reasons behind the inactiveness, but it isn't like it is a secret to the masses.

If this RPG got approved, I'd imagine it would get to where DC:NA or WSS got. About 20-30 pages worth of OOC thread and about 7-8 pages worth of IC posts. DC:NA has been revived, but it struggles once again.

Heck, it may end up like G&M and only make it to page 3 til it dies. And it too is suffering after its revival as DC:NA has been.
