Welcome to the SuperHeroHYPE Fan Art Contest!

THE CONTEST:
WATCHMEN - OK the movie is finally out, Alan Moore is still pissed and Doc Manhattan is without shorts! Here is your chance to do your take on the Watchmen, redesign them, re-imagine them, team them up with other heroes, base your entry on the film or the graphic novel - go crazy and GET CREATIVE!!

THE RULES:
One entry per artist. Try and be as ORIGINAL as possible, do it in pencil, crayon, markers, action figures, Photoshop whatever medium you are comfortable with. Using art/photo reference is okay, I just don't want to see anyone directly COPY an existing piece of ARTWORK... PHOTO-MANIPS are allowed this month! But please be creative with your manips - simply cutting Owl-Man and pasting him on Mount Rushmore won't cut it! - Your entry should be posted HERE in this thread. Using artwork created by another artist and claiming it as your own will not be allowed - and that entry will be disqualified. Originality is always key! NO NUDITY!
(*)If you are banned at the close of the contest your entry will be disqualified!

And please keep the comments and critiques as FAIR as possible. Remember by posting your entry you are open to critique!

ONE ENTRY PER ARTIST!
Take your time and show 'em your best work, try to avoid posting works-in-progress. (Any duplicate entries may be deleted without notice from the thread). You may want to check the thread occasionally to see that your entry is still posted, any entries not showing at the close of the contest may be disqualified. Also if you choose to 'team-up' with another artist then you must clearly state both names with the entry and who did what.

You will need to host your own image and post the image to this thread.
Entries must be visible in this thread - posting a text link only your entry can be missed!

Winner will be chosen by the artists in FAN ART - via a special voting gallery!
Winner also gets a bump in avatar size! - WHOOT!

Ooopsy! Sorry about the double post. Anyways, here's mine coloured. Tried to eminate the style of the graphic novel with really dodgy results.

It's gender switching time! (Im sure alan moore would be rolling in his grave at this heinous crime against art if he was dead, but meh. A male hero called 'silk spectre' is just too silly for me to resist drawing it.)

love the gender switch, those are always fun to do, but my faves are Dr. Manhatten and the two-tone haired chick (name escapes me, not a knowledgeable fan of Watchmen, but I wanna see the film)

Neat idea. I love that you kept Manhattan bald and the little pink bow you added to the Comedian's button. I have to say Silk Spectre stole the picture though. Too funny!

I didn't read the graphic novel, but after watching the movie I saw a lot of squid debate on the net. Read up a bit so kinda understand it. So thought I'd make my entry of Rorschach spying on Ozymandias buying a squid heh.

Loving the other 2 entries too. Doc on Mars is fantastic, I'm not sure how you colored the sunset and Mars soil like that, but it's really well done. Also...it's so wrong that you look at Nightowl in the gender swap pic and think she's cute, then remember the sex scene from the movie /shivers, lol. Though your pic was great as well.
