Preface: So this is a near-late entry because I got 75% of the way done and then MERGED ALL THE LAYERS AND SAVED and had to go back to a file I had on my flash drive that was only about 40% done. Not to mention, Photoshop and my computer are totally f-ed and crash non-stop... In short, I have components for a new comp in route to my apt as I type this... This entry is the picture that killed my current PC. Having said that...

I decided to go a little out there with the theme, since I've done a lot of Batman stuff in the past. My idea was, what if Harleen Quinzel, the future Harley Quinn, existed in the 'TDK' universe as an unhinged little girl how was obsessed with the psychotic, murderous Joker she saw on the news...

It was just kinda a fun what-if idea I had, so I tried to have fun with it and add little details and stuff.

Anyway, here it is:

OK, so i finished my entry, but i wanna say few words before i post it.
I was inspired by Drew Struzan's Blade Runner posters,
always wanted to do something similar.
It was done in Painter X and Photoshop, only thing i didn't draw is the logo at the bottom
Hope you guys and gals like it!

This is a home run! I knew what your were going for (obviously) the second I saw it, which is my attempt at saying your execution was flawless! Really great stuff!

Saw Dark Knight for a second time tonight, very ingenious movie all-around, incorporated and expanded upon a lot of great character stuff from the comics. I love how they portray Joker as such a "corrupter". Inspired me to finish this pic.

i always enjoy looking at your pics and trying to see what easter eggs i can spot in them.

like the blocks that say H,Q and J,K,R, newspaper article, the HA in the HSM poster

i like the baby harley pic.. but it seems a lil bare.. esp for a bedroom.. maybe a bed or something? and even if its just a play room, its a lil bear.. i dunno.. somethin just seems missing

I will admit that block thing kinda just worked out. I intended to do the 'HQ', and then was thinking, what can I spell out in 3 letters, using the letters that surround 'H' and 'Q', and as it turns out 'J' and 'K' happen to be right near 'H' in the alphabet, and 'R' is near 'Q'. It was meant to be.

yeah.. point taken. I had plans for more clutter and a bean bag chair in the back, but it didn't look right and by that point my spirit was long since broken (my computer crashed like... 8 glocktillion times leaving me to redo nearly everything) so at a certain point it was just like... get Harley done (the last thing I did) and be done with it.

that long explanation doesn't make it look less-sparse, but I just wanted you to know that I know it looks sparse.
