I thik like most movies X3 will have a standard edition (just a trailer and the film, cheaper) and a DELUXE SPECIAL EDITION (with alternate scenes and endings, commentaries, Ratner's documentary, etc) and they'll come out at the same time like Batman Begins did.

Agreed, just as long as we get the option to watch the movie with added scenes in it or those scenes are added back in anyway.

Ratner did say there'd be new footage as well though, I wonder did he mean deleted scenes. I know he said it wouldn't be an extended cut but maybe he meant it won't be like a Director's cut or a big LOTR style extended cut. Maybe he meant there'll be minor new footage included in the film. I dunno.

Let me guess, this supposed extended version of the dvd is going to be "2hrs and 15minutes" u know, the version all the secret reliable sources all but confirmed. hehe...

Seriously though, I think, its easier to trust Ratner when it comes to footage and dvd, then to trust Arad. I dont know about everyone else, but after reading how Arab called all the fans idiots, that really left a very bad taste in my mouth seeing as how we, the consumers/rabid fanboys, are the ones helping to put money in his pockets and food on his table.

But I digress, Atleast we get a 2hr "making of" that Brett put together. And alternate footage/scenes.

Or, does anyone remember that pic where Colossus is palming some lil boys head like a basketball.... That was a cute pic, but yet, there was nothing of it in the movie....

And I think everyone agrees that even a brief fight scene with collosus and juggs would have made the movie even more amazing... I just wished we could have seen a bit more of collosus... Here's to praying that Fox decides to put in a little more money and let Ratner shoot an extended directors cut dvd. I'd pay double even tripple the price of a reg. dvd for that.... well, maybe...

Example: At the end Rogue is either wearing gloves and not cured when Bobby walks in, or she touches him because she has been cured.

Secret scene, either Xavier is back in the coma guy's body OR there is a hole in jean's grave and an optic blast shooting up from by Alkali lake.

If anything, we may get an additional Alternate version option on the DVD, but not extended with longer scenes or cut scenes or dialogue. That's just what I think.
