It feels that way. At least around here. What do you think?

Yes, LoL.

I still have my warm stop in my hart for Marvel...

I was pretty excited about Iron Man because the trailer was pretty good, Then the Dark Knight trailer came out.

Yes. Though, I wanna see Iron Man more though. Of course I haven't seen a Batman movie yet. I'm recording the first one soon though.

Nah, two totally different movies in my opinion. I don't see what these two have anything to do with each other other than they are based on comics.

I'm excited for both equally. I'll see them both in theaters and I won't bash either one before I see it (unlike TDK fans on IMDB invading the Iron Man boards).

Well, there were like 300 people at a time on the TDK board before the trailer came out and since the trailer, 500 - 700 people at a given time. While the Iron Man board lately averages about 5 - 7 people at a given time. So the answer is a resounding YES!!!

No, they're less excited about Im *THAN* Batman, not because of it.

Personally, I still far prefer the Iron Man trailer.

it's because WB is showing us more, what with the viral marketing and the prologue and the trailer and the posters and all.. we barely have anything for iron man.

i gotta say that iron man suit is flawless btw, everytime i come on the hype i gotta look at it

I´m much more of a Batman fan, but I want both movies to be great and do well at the box office, never cared for the "Marvel vs. DC" competition.

While I'm a Batman fan and very much looking forward to TDK, it doesn't make me less excited about IM. Two different movies coming out at two different times. I think it would be better to say some are more excited about TDK, but also looking forward to IM and vice versa. Here's hoping both rock with good box office returns.

And I agree with Ultimatefan about the Marvel vs DC crap, I can't stand it. Why can't we ultimately be fans of comic books in general and hope for the best of all comic movies.

I agree with everything in this post. Preach it, sir. :cwink:

Actually TDK's latest trailer is standard fare and pretty boring.

Iron Man just need 1 trailer around February that has the following:

1. Flying jet boot sequence

2. Repulsor shooting

3. Unibeam charging

Optional and well I think it will not be in the movie:

4. Satellite Death Ray coming from above

around about the iron man trailer, batman fans were appauled all they got was a crappy teaser and everyone was hyped about iron man...

the hype is full of very fickle people...

Each film will get their time to shine during the summer.

When the Iron man trailer hit, there were around 400-500 people on The Iron Man boards at that time, hype die's done, no matter what the movie, the same thing happened on the Transformers board when the trailer hit, there was about the same amount of people, once everyone saw the trailer the number dropped dramactically, the same will happen for Batman.

I'm less excited about both Batman/TDK and IronMan, because of James Cameron's Avatar movie...and it comes out in 2009.

Like someone else said, each movie will have a time in the spotlight. Iron Man has the advantage of coming out first followed by the IH. Batman on clean-up in July. Come late March, early April, Iron Man is going to have all the magazine and tv buzz.

We haven't seen nearly as much out of Iron Man as we have Batman. Once that full trailer drops, the hype in here will shoot back up.

that is far too much stuff to reveal, don't you want to save anything for the actual cinema???:wow:

Plus of course, Batman has the advantage of being Batman.

If they announced "Batman and Robin 2" by Shumacher and released a trailer, you can bet your ass it would still get way more attention and talk online.

Sad but true.

I can't wait to see both, IMHO both the IM :im: and TDK :brucebat: trailers are great, I will be in line the first day to see both of these movies and I want both to do well at the Box Office so they make more.

Like a couple other posters here have said, I could care less about the DC vs Marvel thing, I am a comic book and superhero fan and I don't care about that crap at all.

IM - May 2008
TIH - June 2008
The Dark Knight - July 2008
Punisher: War Zone - September 2008

I will see them all :woot:

Yeah, I don't get all this DC vs Marvel crap, people on these boards should be excited to have comicbook characters come to life on the big screen and should be supportive of them even if you're going to see them or not.

As a lifelong Iron Man fan, I'm as excited to see The Dark Knight as I am Iron Man, and like Batman Begins I'll be seeing TDK, Iron Man, and the Incredible Hulk multiple times at the theatre.

:bh: :brucebat: :im: are going to rule next summer!
