Are the Marvel Adventures comics any good?

I've gotten every Marvel Adventures comic that's come out, and unless you are in Elementary School, they are generally best ignored by the average comic reader. They're perfect for my son; but, anyone 13 or above would probably get nothing out of them.

I like the Avengers one. Usually good for some laughs. There was a funny line where Hydra (I think) was brainwashing the various Avengers, and they were listing their abilities and how they could help them out. When they got to Spidey, they decided he was pretty useless. Classic Spidey disrespect.

the first two issues of the avengers series were completely unreadable. just really awful stuff. i've heard it's gotten a lot better since then, but those opinions came from people that horrible taste in comics.

why not pick one up and give it a go?

The MA books are good. They're light and fun, and even OLDER comic readers can read an' enjoy 'em. They're designed fer kids, yes, but they don't pander to the kids. They're also done in the style of the classic old-school comics, which means every issue is a one-off. The artwork is about the only questionable aspect of some of 'em.

The MA line could be the best comming out of Marvel,ive only heard good things from it.I read the Avengers myself,its very good.
