How much do you spend on comics?

I used to spend about $40 a month. Now: $40 in 6 months.

The only comics I follow, i do in TPB form:

Boys
Scalped
Northlanders
Conan

Thats about it.

I usually spend somewhere between $30 to $50 per week. My $50 weeks have been trickling down to a minimum over the past year or two, though.

Titles I follow:

-Wolverine and the X-Men
-Batman
-Detective Comics
-Batgirl
-Justice League
-Captain America
-Captain America/Bucky (whenever the store feels like stocking it.)

With the discounts, I average around $20. However, with the Avengers v. X-Men event, my total comic purchases - including the previews for the DC titles- are going to be near 50+.

So 17 people have posted how much they've spent. Doing the math (and I ended up removing Phaedrus as an outlier), that averages out to $85 bucks a month.

20 a month with a hundred in november to catch up on things I've heard good things about from people I trust. It was hard at first to cut back but now I never feel like I'm being cheated by a bad story so while I read less I enjoy more and regret almost no purchases.

I spend about $25 to $30 per week... so roughly $100/120 per month... not including trades.

~ $125 a month.

Sometimes more.

Not including trades.

I really need to cut back. My poor wallet's going to mutiny with my bank account and start a revolution.
