Well after seeing Across the Spider-Verse, and listening to Miguel call out NWH events. Then seeing Toby, Andrew, & Donald Glover, and knowing some of their events are cannon, are we considering these films MCU canon? I suppose the question is also does that make the Venom-verse canon?

Or are we just considering them fun little outliers in a pocket dimension?

I mean, they're canon in the sense that eveything in the multiverse is canon, they are all just alternate universes.

Now does Disney/Marvel/Feige specifically recongize things? No probably not. The only time they will is when they continue to work with Sony on using Spider-Man in future movies but even then it's really if they need to for whatever story they are going to tell. If for some reason they wanted to bring in Donald Glover as the Prowler in an upcoming movie, I don't really see them referencing that one time he was locked up in Miguel's spider jail.

But ultimately these things are just easter eggs.
