Are the Two Witnesses already preaching?

When I was born, the "Beast" was supposed to be Sadat. When I was in grade school, the "Beast" was supposed to be the Soviet Union. In junior high, it was Sadaam. After 9-11 it was Bin Laden, then Sadaam again, then Kim Jong Ill, now it's Iran, and some people are still saying it's Russia.

They're making up this **** as they go along because some people in the first century took some drugs and wrote down what they saw whilst tripping

Ummmm, I think you're confusing the Beast with the Anti-Christ. Come back when you know the difference, mmmkay?

The Beast is said to have 7 heads and 10 horns. It resembles a Lion, Bear, and Leopard. It has the power of a Dragon as well as it's throne and authority. The world will be astonished and follow the Beast. One of the Beast's heads is fatally wounded(killed), but healed - this head is probably that of an extinct or mythical creature(Thylacine? Dodo? Auroch? Quagga? or maybe even a Unicorn?)

Hmmmm, sounds like how I am being persecuted for saying Barrack is the anti-christ and that the end times are near.

You can't back up what you are saying. So don't act so sensitive when people call you out on BS.

personally, I don't think we'll know who the Anti-Christ is until he proclaims himself as Christ incarnate

The Bible speaks of Two Witnesses being harbingers for the end times.

These two witnesses are said to prepare the world for approximately 3 1/2 years before the Beast rises and Christ returns. If 2012 is indeed 'the end of the world' that would mean these two should be rising any day now.

The two witnesses are said to be in the Middle East when the Beast rises and die in Jerusalem. With Bush threatening to launch an air strike on Iraq within two months it would not be inconceivable for heightened media exposure to begin. I have no doubt these two witnesses will be media members for how the bible has described them.

So who? Who are the two media figures who will be 'prophesizing' or 'broadcasting' from the middle east when the Anti Christ comes to power, the Beast rises, and Christ returns?

:whatever:

No. All it takes for the end times to occur is for someone to put all the pieces from all the different prophecies together. And I'm just the nut to do it.

"I know the pieces fit!"
Pieces that contradict each other can not fit.
It would take supernatural power and knowledge to foretell the future from that far back in time, and such power and knowledge wouldn't contradict itself.

I don't think there will ever be an anti-christ.

And it's evident in this thread and the various anti-Obama videos on youtube and elsewhere, that religious fueled paranoia about the anti-christ (and similarly unfounded paranoia Obama is secretely Muslim) is very dangerous.

I said it before and I said it again, this type of paranoia I personally feel could lead one place - self fulfilled prophecy.

only time will tell.

Except it won't.

If it doesn't occur in the next 10 years, there will be just as many morons at that point as there is now proclaiming the end of times is just around the corner :whatever:

The Anti-Christ isn't Christ incarnate nor does he claim to be. He is someone who is simply what the name says - "Against-Christ." And, no, he is not a Jew.

just because if it doesn't happen in the next 10 years, doesn't mean it won't happen... and people are always going to holler about fire and brimstone and the end of the world.

IMO, they need to concentrate on other things.

the rapture theory is a lie created by man from misunderstanding Biblical scripture

I think you missed my point. Point - we can not wrapped our finite understanding around a infinite God.

Any Christian that thinks he or she can is simply blasphemous.

In short, this guy thinks he know better than God. It's like saying I can build a Ford Mustang from scratch, without the material and manufacturing plant.

he eventually will proclaim himself to be The Messiah in the flesh, and will perform sights and miracles to woo the people at large into believing him... and many people will.

Yes they can and no it wouldn't.

I or anyone else could lay an accurate prophecy for 2000 years into the future but one would have to give up pretty much everything else and avoid outside influence, essentially become a monk. I don't want to do that, I like my stuff!

very true, but the same thing can be said about someone who doesn't believe that God exists.

Granted.

However, my focus in on the believer - in whom places his or herself in the same playing field as Christ.

And with that, I leave this topic in the hands of you all.

Gotta run.

And what does a Presidential candidate do? He/She claims to have all the ansewers to all the problems(LIKE A MESSIAH) and he/she woos the public with their flashy campaigns via televison, radio, printed press, and the internet.

Wake up people, you're not as smart as you think. Technology is bouncing you around like pinballs. You are WAY, WAY, WAY in awe of the politician's and their media image.

Let me try to explain this again.

The 2012 prophecy (which isn't even a prophecy. It's just the ending of a calendar...so, archaeologists long after we're dead could find a 2008 calendar and say that we thought December 31st, 2008 was when the world would stop, :o, but anyway...), gives a DAY for the end, December 21st.

The Bible says that no man, NO man, will know the DAY or the hour.

So, one of them is wrong.

The Bible says that it's power of prophecy comes from God, and God said that prophecies that come from anyone other than God, are a Satanic deceit, and the Mayans did not recieve their "knowledge" from Christ.

If you want to believe in Revelations, that great, but there is NO way that 2012 is involved.
