Are we getting anything kind of like "Motorstorm"?

As for the framerate, I never noticed it on the cam gameplay vids. The physics looked great too. I'm sure if there are any inconsistancies, they'll be few, and not enough to detract from the enjoyment of the game.

'SR' WAS ONE OF THE BEST RACING GAMES OF LAST GEN. PERIOD. IT'S A DAMN SHAME THE SEQUEL SUCKED; THAT LIKELY KILLED THE FRANCHISE. BUT, YOU COULD SEE ELEMENTS OF IT IN THE DESERT PORTIONS OF 'GTA:SA'.

Well, none of them were really alternatives either.

Colin McRae is you against the clock. Taking corners easy. Hit a post and you're not coming first. Not nearly as fun as Motorstorm looks, no other cars on the track, much narrower tighter tracks, and very different environments in general as opposed to the more general wilderness of Motorstorm.

Same with Toca, which is predominately on road too. Stuntman is an entirely different game.

I don't know much about the 360 exclusive, so I can't comment much on that.

Either way, I don't really think there's a true alternative to Motorstorm at the moment, and it's questionable whether they'll do it quite so well as Motorstorm looks to have done.
