Nope, but I have been canoeing down the White River lol.

Have you been outdoor rock climbing?

No
Does the ticking of a loud clock irritate you?

yes, but strangely enough NOT when it's a grandfather clock...

do you like the traditional and elegant old grandfather clocks?

yes

Do you feel time is passing by so slowly?

no, it's going by very quickly, it seems... it feels like the older we're getting, time is going by that much faster...

if you could go back in time and change anything within your own life without affecting anything drastic or extreme, what would it be?

No, I feel like it is passing by too fast.

Are you setting out to make this world a better place or are you just going through the motions?

Both, going with the flow but also always thinking on what to do to make it a better place.

Have you ever done something that has changed someone's life?

yes, but it's an extremely private thing and something I really don't want to speak of...
all I'll say is that it's probably one of the few things in my life where I can say that I actually made a difference for the better that affected two peoples lives...

are you proud of yourself in the way that you've conducted yourself thruout life?... or could you have done better?

I could have done better, but on the whole I guess I am proud of myself. It's more important that other people be proud of me.

Do you have a 5 year plan or are you near finishing one?

No. I am just living day to day.

Do you ever feel like you are the dumbest sob on the block?

no, I try not to think of myself in a negative manner like that... now what OTHERS may think of me is a WHOLE 'nother thing... LOL...

how do you see the state of the world in twenty years?...

frightening

Do you think the internet has helped us or hurt us?

it goes both ways and has it's good points as well as bad...

it's helpful and informative, timesaving and at times, thorough...

but on the other hand, it can make things so convoluted and complex and sometimes, incomprehensible and frustrating...

so it's what they call a double-edged sword, I guess...

what is your opinion of today's youth?... I'm speaking of the 15-20 age group... are there more bad points about them than good?... or the other way 'round?

I am not sure. I don't know any teenagers. Thank goodness lol

Are you glad tomorrow is the first day of Fall?

no, not really... Fall is nice, but it's just that much closer to Winter and snow and cold... but Christmas is the only good thing about it...

what is YOUR favorite time of the year?

I love winter

Do you like wearing winter clothes?

I like wearing fall clothes; fall coats and jackets, hoodies. I don't like wearing itchy sweaters and hats, but will wear nice sweaters.

Have you ever just taken a walk in the rain if the temperature is nice?

with an umbrella when it rains...

what's worse?... people with cell phones who have absolutely no consideration for the people around them with their overly loud chatter or cigarette smokers who light up in public areas where they're not supposed to?

both groups seem to think it's their god-given right to do what they do... jackasses...

Smokers are worse. At least with the cell phone users you can make up what they are responding to as if you're the other person, which is pretty funny.

Oh and I meant with no umbrella, but with an umbrella is fine.

Do you enjoy going to haunted houses during the season?

Sure, why not.

Do you try to avoid controversial topics as much as possible? Why or why not?

controversial topics usually tend to get a bit heated at times, even when discussing them with friends... people can be sometimes overly passionate about subjects that might be near and dear to them in some cases and become overly defensive about it, forgetting that it's JUST a discussion... I usually try to avoid them unless I know it's going to be a safe and sane conversation...

what do you think will be the result of the Presidential election this year?... and do you think whomever wins will REALLY make that much of a dent or a difference in the state of the nation?

Let's just say that the more I hear about this election, the more it mirrors the Reagan/Carter election. If I know one thing, it's that history repeats itself. I could be wrong, but I feel if the general public isn't happy with the guy that's currently in office, then perhaps surprising results will ensue. Romney did win the debate from what I heard, but part of me feels it's too early to say and part of me doesn't. As for whomever wins and if they'll make that much of a dent or difference, I think people shouldn't vote for somebody without doing their research because they could end up regretting their choice either way. I know some people that regretted voting for Obama, so they probably feel better off voting for Romney because of that. It all depends on whoever's elected. Not only should they live up to what they say they're gonna do, but they shouldn't do a half way job.

How's that?

That's great

What is your favorite horror movie?

I'm a HUGE fan of the old black and white Universal monster movies from the 30's and 40's... I could just watch endless marathons of those and never get tired...

what's your favorite movie or television comedy?
