Do you think tournaments on a forum are games and if so, should they get post counts when the games in the Diner don't?

Every post should get a post count. All posts are created equally.

You're job hunting. Your preference is for Job A and the interview goes well. Maybe your chances of landing it are 60-70%. But Job B that you interviewed for the previous week suddenly makes an offer and they need an answer now. Do you take the solid offer with the lesser company or decline and gamble that you'll ultimately get hired by Job A?

I agree with your answer. it is sad others see it differently.

I think it is up to your situation. If you can afford to wait and take the gamble that the job might not come through then wait but if you need the job and a steady paycheck immediately, then a gamble is not wise. Also, nothing will stop you from doing excellence work there and continuing to apply in other companies as opportunities become available.

Will you be seeing all the blockbuster movies this summer or are you busy with other things?

No, I will be busy working. I will see the ones I'm interested in, but to be honest there's nothing I'm obsessed with right now and Iron-Man 3 was slightly disappointing.

Sensi, I turned down Job B. And then they contacted me with a counter-offer and a $500 raise per month, so I took it. I went after the money instead of the dream-job I guess.

Okay, question time. What is the best motivational and/or inspirational advice you've ever recieved and who gave it to you?

I would have done exactly what you did and who's to say that won't turn into your dream job anyway.

There is always a brighter tomorrow but in order to reach it you must take one step at a time to get there.
You can chose to sit on the tack but all you're really going to get is a sore butt.

I don't know if I really know they are. I think I just have to be told lol I am not good when it comes to catching hints.
