Do you seriously think that Astigmatism is a "real" vision problem?

I got into this discussion with my mom, brother and dad the other day...

We all wear glasses. My bro and dad with the worst, my mom with issues deveolped from work (sitting in front of a computer screen for the last 20 years...)

And then there's me, with astigmatism. Just one day was like... "you know, I can "see" the chalk board... but there are like spots" and "ma, I can't see the lines on the road when I drive at night".


They claim it isn't a real issue, and I don't need to wear the glasses all the time...

Yeah I have astigmatism and can vouch for it that is, in fact, and in contrary to what your mom the optometrist and dad the ******* may think, it is a vision problem.
