Eh. Not really. Nobody was forced to watch the live stream and the actors didn't appear live, except for one. I lost some sleep today, but I could have easily saved it for later if I wanted to.
Cumming coming back is probably the biggest surprise to me. The make up work was top notch for him in X2 so they're going to need to step up to the plate if they're going the CGI route this time.
It'd blow my mind if that shot included Eric Bana's Hulk and the Story FF cast as well.

They might revist them at some point. We got to see characters from the incredible Hulk cast return after years offscreen.
Is too bad because the film really isn't that terrible. It's a different flavour in the MCU for sure, but the movie's reputation doesn't reflect it's quality.
I do wonder how much harder it's going to be for Marvel Studios to introduce its own X-Men when they've spent the last five years leaning into nostalgia for the Fox cast.
This seems somewhat short-sighted to me. Choosing immediate satisfaction instead of considering the long game. Maybe I'm wrong.
Can we at least give McKellen a decent costume for a change?
For the next actors reveal, they should reveal them over the next year as a year- long live stream that no-one goes to sleep for.
