Would Luke Cage lead your New Avengers or Hawkeye?

I had Luke as leader but I guess they could co-lead

I completely forgot that Dark Avengers is returning this summer when I made this up

This isn't goint to be remotely unique but I always felt that there should be a more permanent Avengers roster consisting of:

1) Captain America
2) Iron Man
3) Thor
4) Hawkeye
5) Ms. Marvel
6) Songbird*
7) Dr. Strange

Alternate I: Black Panther
Alternate II: Ant-Man (O'Grady)

* I know Songbird hasn't been an Avenger but it's about damn time.

7) Venom (Thompson)

I put Kate in because I couldn't really think of anyone else (I don't really know who the new members have been lately). I don't really even know Kate that well (hoping the new Hawkeye series makes her a great character) - I just wanted to make sure I didn't put Thor or Hulk into the mix. I guess I could have put Black Widow in Kate's spot, but I completely blanked out (it was really early in the morning lol).

I prefer superheroes who are "beatable" not gods or Hulks. They were great (in smaller doses) in the film, but I just feel like a team can be better written if they are a group that has to work together. Plus, never really knowing if a character may or may not live is much more interesting as far as storytelling goes, IMO.
