Peoples incessant need for Marvel's characters to come out on top has made them ignore logic.

Give me some real logic and I won't ignore it. I'll PROVE, if I can, my opinion and back it up with facts. I'm sorry if I'm throwing facts that each comic book company has for it's characters at you and you don't want to believe what I'm saying. It's okay, that's why these fanboy arguements will go on forever. I don't have a problem with that because I enjoy the conversation. I will stick by my belief that the Avengers (classic roster: Cap, Iron Man, Thor, Vision, Scarlet Witch, Quicksilver & Hawkeye) can defeat the JLA (Big Seven version: Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman, Martian Manhunter, Flash, GL, Aquaman). I can back my statement up with facts. Sorry, if you don't agree with them.

I don't know how powerful they are if like more than half that team was taken down by Steel, Big Barda, Plastic Man, Zauriel and Orion. Check the One million issue of JLA.

The reason Superman was so weak? Outside of their own timeline, the JLA ONe Million wasn't operating at their highest levels of power, and when they arrived to the 20th century did not want to fight the Justice League that they were inviting, after all.

Also: Big Barda and Orion are deities, Plastic Man could solo the big seven, and Zauriel is a bona fide angel. Just to point that out.

That's right, I forgot that he got weaker in the past. My bad.

Also: Big Barda and Orion are deities, Plastic Man could solo the big seven (do you mean PM could beat the whole group?), and Zauriel is a bona fide angel(who seems to die alot, y'know). Just to point that out.

The One Million JLA was ridiculously over power. Yes, they would turn the Avengers into paste.

I don't know if I'd go that far. I mean, there's nothing they can do to hurt him, but they could certainly incapacitate him in some way.

The reason his powers were waning is that they came from Superman Prime who was giving them those powers from his fortress of solitude within the sun.
