What do you guys think?

The key is to make sure every team has all the bases covered. You've got to have an energy blaster guy, in case anything needs energy blasting. You've got to have a strong guy, in case they need to carry something heavy. You've got to have a brainy one, in case they need to use a computer or something. You've got to have an uber-powerful woman, to go against the sexist stereotype of women being weaker. You need an animalistic one who can go all feral and impress the uber-powerful woman with his manliness. And so forth.

With that in mind, these are my three teams:
(leaders in bold)

Cyclops (energy blaster guy)
Jean Grey (the ridiculously uber-powerful woman)
Colossus (the strong guy)
Wolverine (the animal)
Shadowcat (the brainy one)
Quicksilver (when it needs to get there fast . . . )
Iceman (the other one)

Havok (energy blaster guy)
Polaris (the ridiculously uber-powerful woman)
Strong Guy (the stong guy)
Beast (the animal / the brainy one)
Cannonball (when it needs to get there fast . . . )
Siryn (the other one)
Multiple Man (the other other one)

Bishop (energy blaster guy)
Storm (the ridiculously uber-powerful woman)
Proudstar (the strong guy)
Wild Child (the animal)
Forge (the brainy one)
Nightcrawler (when it needs to get there fast . . . )
Chamber (the other one)

I have one team, and one team only-

Wolverine- feral fighting abilities and healing
Colossus- brute strength
Kitty Pryde- fighting abilities and stealth for self and team
Iceman- ranged offense and defense, ice travel
Jubilee- fighting abilities and acrobatics- with powers= ranged offense and defense, w/o powers= tazers, blasters, and flash bomb projectiles
Chamber- with powers= ranged offense, w/o powers= ally character
Psylocke- fighting skills, acrobatics, and telepathy

I feel like I'm the only one without a Summers brother who sucks in any of my teams.

Eh. They're not my thing. I can appreciate them, but they're not interesting to me. They don't even act like they're brothers half the time.
The only decent characters in the Summers clan (including Jean) are Corsair and Adam X, as far as I'm concerned. Those two rock the funky beat with both hands.

The outback/renagade team is by far my favorite team.

Storm,Havok,Wolvie,Colossus,Longshot,Dazzler,Psylocke,Rogue

I love the roster from around the Dark Phoenix Saga. Cyclops, Wolverine, Colossus, Storm, Nightcrawler, Angel, Beast & Jean Grey. The best of all worlds.

Any team that cant do a fastball special is no team at all.

Also i'm not a huge fan of Havok but Cyclops is supremely badass and i'll defend to the death his badassery.

You won't be alone my friend. If anyone out there wants to see how badass Scott is read the last (I think) X-Factor story with the original 5 X-Men vs Apocalypse. It had artwork by Whilce Portacio (sp) and is, in my opinion, the best interpretation of Cyclops as not only a leader, but a warrior. Oh yeah, there was also a couple of issues of X-Men right before Grant Morrison took over that had Cyke being quite the badass fighting alongside Wolverine.

Team 1

Cyclops - leader
Wolverine - no new Avengers
Nightcrawler
Colossus
Shadowcat
Psylocke
Jean Grey

Team 2

Havok - Leader
Juggernaut
Cannonball
Rogue
Gambit
Husk
Angel

Team 3

Storm - Leader
Beast
Cable
Surge
Hellion
Bishop
Iceman

If I was placed in charge of the X-books I would fight to the death that there only be one team. 3 X-books dilutes the series. If there is a serious need for 3 x-teams then there needs to be a reason for each team.
The Uncanny team would serve the purpose they always served
The second team would be the government team and the third would either be a training team or the one that is wanted by the government

Totally agree. Thats why they should open an Xavier Institute on the West Coast. All the mutants in the world can make their way to NY.

the way things are going you have three books of people based out of the same mansion that almost never meet. The only reason there are three X-teams is to sell three X-books
