In what way is it broke? It's internally consistent within the reality of the shared DC Universe. That's all that's necessary. If you can't enjoy a Superman story without "wanting to drink hemlock" because his powers aren't scientific enough, you've got a problem. It is broke, and very broke at that
I really think he wouldn't, because DC would pwn that.yahman said:I wish Ellis would do a run on Superman. He'd come up with a power source just as 'cool' but more scientifically accurate.
Yeah, his Planetary/JLA crossover was the worst work he's ever done. His Planetary/Batman crossover was fine, but Planetary/JLA tried to textually cash in on readers' previous understandings of and loyalties to existing Planetary characters, but he completely shifted who they were and what they represented. It had no resonance for me as a Planetary story, but the writing style assumed that it would. It's the problem with 95% of Elseworlds stories.yahman said:Has anyone read his planetary D.C. Crossover, where he basically states Superman to have organs that work under the 'Unified Theory' ?
Yellow sun doesn't ruin my story experience, and nobody needs another retcon.yahman said:***'on Grandads stop being so nostalic !
