You're right it's not. It's the Batpod.
Jesus.
Hey Mighty Wind, I had started not long before you posted this. It took me all night cause I did it in Paint, but here you go. It's also in the art thread. As much as I dig the new bike, I'm suprised with all these BatPod jokes that no-one's vectored an image of Batman into a black silhouette, put him against a coloured background and added a white ipod and headphones.
Yeah, I find it funny when some complain that the batmobile chase in BB is "slow"... I mean, do people actually believe the cars´ speed is real in Michael Bay and Rob Cohen movies?Without insanely goofy special effects.
I liked what Ebert said about Begins the most - "the movie isn't realistic, but it pretends as though it is."
...Touché. but you can't blame him for not telling the truth...
...
Huh?

Well I don't know if that's how fast they were going during actual filming, but yes, cars can go that fast if you want it to.Yeah, I find it funny when some complain that the batmobile chase in BB is "slow"... Yeah. But why can't I blame him for not telling the truth?Well, he says, "that's not the batcycle"
Indeed it's not, it's the batpod.![]()
You're post was right on, so I had to react![]()
Yeah. But why can't I blame him for not telling the truth?
Y'know what? Never mind. Doesn't matter.

I know.Because he's right saying that it's not called the batcycle lol.
I like it, btw.
I know.
MMmkay...moving on.
All this excitement makes me post nonsense
Oh yeah, I'm not disagreeing there. Just saying, cars have the ability to go as fast as you see them in the movies if you actually push them to their limits in the real-world.They turn up the camera speed, it´s a common trick. A stunt driver talked about how, for a real car running at real speed on street with other cars around, The Tumbler was incredibly fast.
Yeah, but if you do that the risk of an accident is huge, I guess.Oh yeah, I'm not disagreeing there. Just saying, cars have the ability to go as fast as you see them in the movies if you actually push them to their limits in the real-world.
I really love this new bike. I mean REALLY love this new look all the Bat vehicles all have.
It's very nice to see all the Bat vehicles having a military look and feel rather than that pansy-assed look of the earlier film vehicles that looked like they were designed by Dolce or Calvin Clein or whoever in the hell is supposed to be hot in fashion these days. I buy my clothes at Wal-Mart.
I much rather prefer the practical/military approach to Batman's equiptment. It just works better than the hyper stylized bat stuff in previous movies.
It was the best for the direction the franchise went for at the time, and it´s a cool design. But the Tumbler has a far superior performance.I'll agree that the Batmobiles from Batman Forever and Batman and Robin sucked big time but you didn't like the Batmobile Keaton drove? I felt that was by far the best so far. Sleek and simple.

In terms of on screen performance, the Tumbler was just awesome on film in what it could do.
I don't see how the tumbler is better. What did the tumbler do that the keaton mobile couldn't? Really it just comes down to the writers adding features.
It could actually turn for one. And it looked like an actual vehicle in terms of it's exterior material.I don't see how the tumbler is better. What did the tumbler do that the keaton mobile couldn't? Really it just comes down to the writers adding features.

I still love the Burton car the most, but I have to admit looking back at it, it does look very plastic-y.
a lot respecto to nolan for making BB.Back to the Batcycle - and apologies if someone has already posted this, but...
...the wheels are the same as the front two wheels of the tumbler, so it suggest to me that Batman may construct the bike from the wreckage of the Batmobile
