his 'style' revolves around gimmicks and suchlike, rather than skill. It's like when some people get a camera and looks at the effects, going oh, that's cool, then they use it for the sake of it.

His use of camera is infantile, his brother on the other hand, can actually write rather well indeed.

So, basically, your only point in being here(which you have every right to) is to just bash him and the production(with the exception of his brother). Because how can he possibly produce something that can meet your standards.

I wouldn't worry about that though. The Tumbler was equipped with missiles and in B89 the batmobile had machine guns but he never used them on people. Same idea here.

Missles I gathered to blow away obstacles. I have no idea what batman would need machine guns mounted on this Harley Quinzzelopolis of a bike for if he really isn't a killer.

the 89 batman used the guns to blow through a door, but of course he would have shot people too since he doesn't seem to be against killing. though yes the whole "if you dont see a body, they're not necessarily dead" idea might be in play for him as well as the cop car crusher from begins.

Even bad people can come up with something good. I am open to being pleasantly surprised. I just wanted to voice my opinion on the bat-cycle, I'm not the only one who dislikes it.

Cyrus, this isn't the first time you've attempted shallow criticism with you head up your rear end. If you're so inclined to continue this debate from where we left off, then by all means lets do so. After all, what could be more fun than exposing you for what a pretentious wannabe critic you really are who simply knows how to use big words but doesn't know how to back them up?

Oh and I can't understand why in heaven's name are the 'haters' of a particular film franchise the most persistently vocal demographic on its message boards? I mean, I can't stand a minute of Tim Story's FF movies and a simple pop in for my thoughts is more than enough. I don't stick around there like a fly and aggravate everyone there with the same ol' redundant drivel. Just looking at the threads in this forum and I mostly see the same old jackasses whining about one thing or the other. Good Lord!

I won't stop you.

At the time, the majority of people thought Hitler was a saviour and a good guy, US included.

Majority isn't always right, hence Mensa being a minority group etc.

wtf are you talking about? you have no idea. ha ha

You´re describing Michael Bay. Nolan uses the camera properly, to tell the story, not to make crazy-fast MTV pans and weird angles for the sake of weird. Granted, the fight scenes editing was choppy at times, but it was the first time he was doing big fight scenes, I believe he´ll do better next time. Nolan helps his brother with all of his scripts, BTW.

Then wouldn't it be, I dunno, more appropriate to wait until we know what they are used for before resuming the juvenile bickering? Or is that too big an obstacle for your trollish tendencies?

Some people in this thread are starting to try my patience, opinion is one thing, trying to stir up an argument is another

I remember The Tumbler had missiles and all Batman did was to blow up a wall. Some people have no imagination whatsoever.

Actually they do. They just tend to suppress it so that they can have something to complain about.

This makes me want a G.I. Joe movie something terrible.

In Dark Knight Returns, he used "rubber bullets" to take out a large gang. He could do the same thing here.

It's only trolling if it's not absolutely gushing praise, man.

Hey you don't insult people, and give a plausible comic-based answer to my query.

Is this still super hero hype?

Rubber bullets, that's an interesting idea. excellent post.

Then I must be trolling as well, eh skippy? Show me one instance in the entire forum where I showered Nolan, Bale or this production with absolute gushing praise. Quit acting like a victim as if you're being attacked for your opinion, because you're not.

One of the typical trolling arguments is "i´m called a troll cuz I have independent thought", which is a deceit cuz they dodge the fact that it´s their tone and way of arguing that´s the trolling. I have been negative a lot on the Fantastic Four boards, I disagree with A LOT of people there and nobody ever acused me of trolling.

How is it plausible? The bike is a getaway vehicle, not an assault vehicle. The guns on in could be used for shooting away obstacles or breaking through barriers (like the Batmobiles in BB and B89 did). So rubber bullets don't make any sense because he's more than likely not using the bike to take out goons with.

It was subtle but in BB it was shown that he does not like guns. (A change from the previous franchise that is welcomed)

I still feel the grapple function it of more importance here.

The gun turret....the things at the top are grappling hooks, small headlights are visible and then there's two types of guns. Maybe the big ones are for blowing up shiit and the small ones are rubber bullets or small calibers

Even I said a couple of negative things about the first pics of the cowl (the ones with the small horns in the basket) and I'm not too enthusiastic about the overly armored look and have even said so in complete agreement with the arguments raised in favor for a more sleeker, streamlined suit. According to Wesyeed's braindead definitions, I must be a troll too then. Goody.

Ok, I'm not for or against the possibility of this thing "popping out" of the Tumbler like a pod, but I was looking at a possibility of how it might work. It's poorly done, but try to imagine it.

Remember when Batman shifts into the little motorcycle position in Begins? He could have been using those handlebars/controls to steer. The could fold front or back which is demonstrated by the poorly drawn orange lines.

Also, notice how the axle on the front is off center from the wheel? It's just like the front end of the Tumbler. Looking at the poorly drawn red lines, it could also fold over to the front (assuming the back is also off center) So technically, it's be kind of cheesy and very improbable, but still a small thing to consider.

^ I see what you mean. It makes sense

doesn't make a lame idea any better though

why spend so many words responding to braindead definitions?

How's it any different than endlessly and repeatedly whining about the same things over and over again? Oh I get it, now you're getting the idea of how I feel when I scroll through crap like this when browsing the threads. Annoying ****, isn't it?

What your doing is speculating. I thought you said we weren't allowd to do that until we actually know what the things are used for... :ninja:
