I think many of us fans won't see this film because of this bike.

It's a sad sad world :csad:

Yea right. If Batman's suit was made out of PVC, Joker was an android and Harvey Dent was siamese twins, we'd still all go see this film

if there's one thing i love about the Tumbler and the Bat-pod it's that they don't have any real cosmetic designs to them. EVERYTHING on those vehicles look like they have practical purposes....not just to "look cool". if you look at all of the previous Batvehicles...every one of them had wings, fins, or a batsymbol, but the Tumbler and the Bat-pod look like vehicles made for specific purposes other than to sell toys.

well its a big push for realism. the fact that they built it and it actually runs is proof enough.

it got that Custom Built look. Custom with the Capital C

I think this one is better than the batpod it s more down to earth. the new batpod should be used in Star wars only:o

that's a pretty cool bike but it can be easily be mistaken by the average movie-goer as Blade's bike. the bat-pod is unmistakably Batman's bike.

The only thing about the Tomahawk-based cycle is it reminds me too much of the Rebird.

That pic should be whipped out everytime someone whines about the Batpod

Yes, to deploy the feeble "it may be bad, but here's something worse" technique yet again.

Yeah, you know, whenever we mention practicality here, some people act like we´re talking about tax deduction or something... We mean the badass action stunts these machines will be able to do on screen...

Without insanely goofy special effects.

I liked what Ebert said about Begins the most - "the movie isn't realistic, but it pretends as though it is."

Love that quote. Ebert is a big Batman fan who didn't see Begins coming - I think he described it as 'the Batman film he didn't know he was waiting for.' He's a great critic.

I do, but I hate to see that particular propagandic device in any manifestation.

I see.

I agree with you as well. I wish people could talk about Nolan's Batfilms without having to bring up the other, entirely unrelated franchise.
