Batman 1-4 Coming to Blu-Ray

I don't even own a Blu-Ray player but I'm glad to hear that Batman and Batman Returns are going to get some nice transfers.
 
They were just officially listed on Blu-Ray.com today. So this is merely confirmation. It's not old news. You can't "report news" on something that was never official. Now it is official.
 
Nah, I already have these movies, and I'm not so fan boy to buy same movie multiple times. But for someone who doesn't own Batman 1-4 and has PS3, this is probably great news.
 
does that mean that begins and dark knight wont be out on blue-ray with them?????
 
I'm happy with my regular Bat-DVDs.
 
i had the on VHS lol havnt gotten them even on dvd but i dont wana buy just 1-4 cuz i want begins and dark knight in blu-ray too grrrr god dam lol...

I'm sure BB and TDK will be on Blu-Ray over there, but not in the same collection with B89-B&R. Nor should they be.
 
i know yeah but hopefully they will cuz it would be a shame to have the classics and not have the newest ones!!!!!!!!

I have all 4 movies on...

- VHS
- Bare bones DVD
- Special edition DVD

and soon to be...

- Blu-Ray

The studio (WB) "officially" spoke on this a long time ago though it's not something that most people didn't know awas aroudn. There have been threads you could've posted this in already. It's third quarter 2008 we know it's coming.

I really hope they have the commentary on them. I wanted to buy the DVDs that came out in 2005 but never got around to it. I don't have a PS3 yet but Id get these along with Begins an Dark Knight to hold onto till I do.
 
Does anyone know if they are being re-released on dvd as well? Some of us don't own a PS3. :csad:
 
I would do anything to see B89 on the crystal clear prestine quality of blu-ray. I want one. Bad.
 
Will get them as long as Batman Returns and Forever are uncut in the UK.
 
Unfortunately, I simply cannot afford a Blu-Ray player right now. Can anyone tell me if Warner Bros. are planning on re-releasing these on standard DVD? I think it sucks that they've discontinued them, forcing people to buy them on Blu-Ray, forcing them to buy Blu-Ray players, even if they can't afford them.
 
There's a full page advertisement for these Blu-Rays in the latest Empire magazine.
