In all truth, it isn't really going to hurt anything to have this thread here Joker, so why bother arguing a moot point. Obviously nobody but you cares, that the other thread is there, so why not conserve your energy and the space of this thread, and stop wasting your time, his time and everybody elses time as a matter of fact. No harm no foul right? Besides, this is a specific thread to a specific arc, where as the other thread is a general thread about Batman comics. Nobody wants to wade through pages of crap, just to talk about one specific title. There is more than one Batman book. Why try and discuss an arc in Batman, in a thread that covers Detective Comics, Legends of Dark Knight and Batman? It seems like clutter to you, but I think it is easier to find the thread about the topic you want, rather than going through some general topic. Just because somebody labeled it "The Official..." doesn't mean that all posters have to recognize it as the such. I'm with Stupify on this one. No diresprect to you, but you do seem to be over reacting about the matter of two threads...which more or less, are only partially related in the first place.
Anyways, I thought that making the Man-Bats into ninjas was a pretty campy thing...but not unfathomable in the world of Batman. We are dealing with Talia, and regular ninjas probably wouldn't match up agains Batman. So, she sought to give her men an edge. Man-Bat is an old character in the Batman legacy...so I think it is a cool throwback. I still remember that episode of Batman TAS in which he fought the Man-Bat. I like it when Batman takes on actual super powered beings in his book. They are always strong enough to be a menace to Batman, but never so fantastic that they seem out of place (like when you see Batman fighting Darkseid, although that was a cool if brief, fight).
