Batman Graphic Novels Elimination Game:

OK people, since I managed to do Round 13 and the world didn't implode, I figure it's safe to do another one. We're going to re-visit Graphic Novels/Trade Paperbacks. True, this was the Round 3 theme, but due to voting that went on ad nauseam, the round was halted before only one choice remained. Several current game players missed out on that game and were utterly distraught. Before mass manic depression sets in or innocent blood is spilled, I must step in as your benevolent (and delusional) Gamesmaster and cater to the will of the people.

I'm taking the last 10 remaining choices from the first go-around and, like all good little criminal recidivists, we're doing it again.

Basic Rules: You subtract one point from a graphic novel you don't like and add a point onto another book which you do like, until (much like a Highlander) only one remains. Just for the hell of it, I'm breaking the rules and starting all choices with 15 points. You can only post once in 60 minutes, meaning every 60 minutes you can vote to give everyone a chance.

Guys, please be careful with your posts. The past few games have gotten off track with some missed tallies due to simple error. After your post, please check that it accurately reflects what you wanted and that no other post came through before you were able to submit yours. Also, if you see an error has been made, feel free to call attention to it or correct it yourself with another post. Thanx.

Man, I haven't read seven of these. I feel quite ashamed (although I am REALLY new to comics). And I've only participated in the last two rounds of this game.

I guess Hush and Haunted Knight are disliked as much as they are liked.

Well I liked Hush but the main negative thing I see people say is that they hated how Loeb had so many villain cameos that they felt wasn't needed.

Haunted Knight? Well...it is like categorized into 3 books like DKR is. Book One was good, Two was good...but Three was 'so and so' (kind of good but also kind of stupid).

Cool, thanks for the info. Picked up Hush and read it a while back, but Haunted Knight is one I need to read. (That and Dark Victory.)

I'm in the Superman mode right now, what with the movie and all, so I'll hopefully get around to them soon.
