Well it depends, The long Halloween on re-reading is a pretty lacklustre story, and has twists that are ridiculously contrived. Its written by Loeb after all. It would have worked much better as a character piece. That said the art is fantastic and the focus on the gangsters is neat.
Haunted Knight is okay, the Scarecrow story is predictable and Loeb does his usual awful dialogue shtick by having Scarecrow's only words be from nursery rhymes. The Mad Hatter story is the best of the lot even if once again he wastes the villain by only having him recite Caroll. The third story is odd, and seems to have mixed reactions. The art is great though, the only reason I bought it.
